Recently, the project team of the Nantong New Factory of Henan Jiuye Chemical Equipment Co., Ltd. reached a key milestone. Following the successful completion of dynamic compaction and drainage works, the first test pile was smoothly driven recently, with the final pile driving force stabilized at approximately 150 tons. This marks the project’s official entry into the core phase of civil construction. However, more exciting than the completion of the first pile is that this new factory has borne a strategic mission far beyond "capacity expansion" since its planning stage – it is a crucial step for Jiuye Chemical to lay out its global footprint and build full-chain capabilities for its "global expansion strategy," and even more so a "new fulcrum" for Chinese equipment manufacturing to enter the international market.
"The Nantong New Factory is not a simple 'replication of production workshops,' but a full-chain upgrade platform tailored for our global expansion strategy," emphasized the project team leader during the introduction. Different from the single manufacturing attribute of traditional factories, the Nantong New Factory will take "R&D as the guide, manufacturing as the core, and service as the extension" to build a trinity integrated system:
? R&D End: A dedicated R&D center for overseas markets will be established. Targeting the working conditions of the alumina and chemical industries in regions such as Southeast Asia and the Middle East, it will develop customized evaporation and concentration equipment as well as heat exchange equipment to meet local needs, ensuring technological innovation is more aligned with the demands of overseas customers.
? Manufacturing End: Intelligent production lines will be put into use. Through precision CNC equipment and digital management systems, the processing precision of core components of evaporation and concentration equipment will reach the 0.05mm level (equivalent to 1/140 the diameter of a human hair), and the heat efficiency of heat exchange equipment will be increased by 28% compared with traditional processes, safeguarding product competitiveness from the source of manufacturing.
? Service End: A supporting overseas after-sales response center will be built. Leveraging the new factory’s location advantages, it will provide overseas customers with faster equipment commissioning, operation and maintenance support, and technical training, completely breaking the traditional global expansion model of "valuing sales over services."
The core strategic consideration for locating the Nantong New Factory in Tongzhou Bay lies in the global logistics advantages brought by the port. As an intersection of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the Coastal Economic Belt, Tongzhou Bay has a deep-water port and a convenient multimodal transportation network. Short-distance transportation from the factory to the port can significantly shorten the logistics cycle of large-scale chemical equipment; via maritime transportation, products can quickly reach key overseas markets of Jiuye Chemical (such as Southeast Asia and the Middle East), reducing logistics time and costs by more than 30% compared with transportation from inland factories.
"Here will be the 'gateway' for Jiuye's products to go global." The chairman of Jiuye Chemical commented on the positioning of Nantong's new factory during his inspection of the project. In fact, this layout had long been foreshadowed: in recent years, Jiuye Chemical's evaporator equipment has been successfully applied to overseas projects such as Rusal Guinea and Jinjiang Indonesia. The completion of Nantong's new factory will further address the pain points of "slow capacity response and high logistics costs" for overseas orders, allowing more high-end chemical equipment "made by Jiuye" to enter the global market at a faster speed and lower cost.
The successful completion of the first test pile not only solidifies the physical foundation of the Nantong New Factory but also strengthens the "capacity foundation" for Jiuye Chemical’s globalization strategy. From the precise control of the 150-ton pile driving force to the full-process quality management of each subsequent pile, the project team has always adhered to the construction standard of "millimeter-level precision." This rigorous pursuit of "haggling over every detail" is exactly Jiuye Chemical’s consistent commitment to the quality of its overseas products: only by laying a deep and solid "foundation" first can it steadily support the large-scale system of its global development, and further lay a "solid foundation of confidence" – tougher than steel bars and heavier than cement – for Jiuye’s subsequent in-depth advancement into the global market under its global expansion strategy.
