At the same time, it has also reduced carbon emissions by 6.31 million tons, setting a new benchmark for energy conservation, cost reduction, and green development in the alumina industry.

02: The second pioneering achievement

The second pioneering achievement is the successful application of the evaporative condenser in the alumina evaporation station. This technological achievement is remarkable, as it can save 3 kWh of electricity for every ton of water evaporated. Calculated based on the requirement of 3 tons of water evaporation for the production of each ton of alumina, the domestic alumina industry can save 720 million kWh of electricity annually, with the electricity cost savings reaching 500 million yuan, and directly reduce carbon emissions by 484,000 tons.
